Christmas Parade

This morning, we made a quick trip to Costco.  And in the afternoon it is the Christmas Parade.  We usually go every year.  This year the parade, was suppose to start at 2pm.  We live closer to the end of the parade, so we headed out about 2:30pm and we waited and waited.  It was so cold, the weather network said the wind chill was -11.  But the kids had lots of fun.  It was really neat to see their smiling faces.

Of course my camera was acting up.  The lens wouldn't come out.  We used Terry's phone for some pictures, but my fingers were too cold to have outside my mitt.  So, we gave up taking pictures.

Waiting for the parade to start.
The kids loved the floats, police cars and fire trucks.  Both of them would wave and yell "Merry Christmas".  I also have to add, they loved the candy canes and other treats that was handed out.
J waving and me with Ri watching the parade.
 And finally Santa!
Last year, Santa's sled broke down and when he passed us, he was walking.

We walked back home and Terry made us hot chocolate with candy cane pieces to help us warm up.   We had a great day!
